In this class students with wheel throwing experience will explore making various sizes and styles of lidded containers in a relaxed and fun studio setting. Design considerations for each type of vessel will be discussed and demonstrations will be given. Individual instruction will be given to help students develop greater proficiency on the wheel. We will be taking the clay from its raw state through glazed finished ware.
Prerequisite: Students should be able to center and make a 4” cylinder.
Open Studio is included with your registration for the duration of your class.
Supplies: Clay must be purchased through the CraftStudies Supply Shop.
