Where to Eat
King Arthur Baking Co.
We’re all big fans of KA’s cafe and baking store, located in Norwich. Try one of the sticky buns, their classic French baguette, or a sugar-on-snow latte.
Wolf Tree
A 2025 finalist for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar, Wolf Tree in White River Junction serves up absolutely mind-blowing cocktails in an extremely well-appointed space. Get a meat and cheese plate if you plan to have more than 1 cocktail. (You will want to have more than 1.)
Putnam’s Vine/Yard
Their motto, “Coffee until wine,” really resonates with us. Lisa’s a fan of their fancy seasonal lattes and whiskey flights. Katie loves their chai or whatever glass of throaty red they recommend.
Phnom Penh
A 7-minute walk from CraftStudies brings you Phnom Penh, a staff and volunteer favorite for lunch. They specialize in East Asian fare like banh mi and pho. Case recommends the vermicelli noodles with curry chicken.
Happy Dumpling
Located the midst of an unassuming strip mall in West Leb, you’ll find some of the best soup dumplings you’ll ever eat.
WRJ Co-op
Our local grocery is a 2-minute walk from the studio. Get a custom sandwich made at the deli or grab one of their many delicious prepared options.
